I have lived in Running Springs since 1978. I was a real estate agent in the mid 1980's to 1990 when the market was really tough, not only were interest rates sky high but we had to do everything differently then. Hand written offers, no computers, bad faxes, unsophisticated communication and so on, I learned a lot from very schooled brokers. I have always loved real estate. I also owned my own business' through the years and have found it challenging and very rewarding, so it was a natural transition for me to become a broker and open my own office, I have not regretted it. At Top Producers Realty we currently have 12 agents and 3 Brokers. We strive to make every transaction as smooth as possible. We all live in the mountains and know the area. Ken Hunter moved to Lake Arrowhead in 1979 upon the invitation to go up to the mountains to help a friend build a new home. He was stunned by the beauty of this area and couldn't wait to get back up again, this time to make the area his home.
From 1979 to 1985 Ken worked as a carpenter, building many of the local homes in the area. In 1985 he obtained his General Contractors license and began his own construction company.
In 1992, Ken worked to obtain his real estate salesperson license and started his real estate career in the midst of a deep economic recession. Later, he obtained his real estate brokers license and opened what is now Mountain Life Realty in Blue Jay, California.
Ken's heavy local construction background has been beneficial to his real estate clients as well. He continues, to this day, to enjoy both selling real estate and building new custom homes for preferred clients.
